AWS Migrations Essentials
The AWS Migration Essentials (MTMGES) course is designed to provide participants, especially solution architects, with foundational knowledge to plan and execute successful lift and shift migrations to the AWS Cloud. During the course, participants will learn methodologies to discover, plan, execute, and monitor migrations using various AWS tools and services. The course covers migration strategies, use of assessment tools such as the Cloud Adoption Readiness Tool (CART) and Migration Readiness Assessment (MRA), and provides an overview of key AWS services such as AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) and AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN). Additionally, the course explores database and data migration and modernization, and discusses application optimization in the context of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. This course helps prepare for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam and other AWS certifications.
